Last minute coffee news for 2015:

Circle K coffee gets a thumbs-up!

My 10-year-old, who usually doesn't care for coffee (how can he be related to me???) sampled Circle K's coffee and pronounced it to be "slightly great" and gave it a thumbs-up!  

And at only $1 for any size (of course, the XL --24 ounces of java--is the obvious choice!) between 1 pm & 1 am, it's also a great deal!  I give it a big thumbs-up, too!  :)

It's National Coffee Day-- how did I not know about this until it was almost too late?!?  (I heard about it on the radio, of all places!)  At least I found out just in time to celebrate by going to Dunkin Donuts and getting a free cup of joe!   Of course, every day is National Coffee Day for me and my fellow caffiends, right?  :)

Lifting a mug in honor of my father-in-law's would-have-been 88th b-day today!  Known as "Pop" to those closest to him, he was definitely a fellow 'caffiend'!!  He'd have a hot cup of java with pretty much everything-- from donuts to pizza and everything in-between!  Here's to you, Pop!  :)

Sometimes you gotta travel a bit to get a good cuppa...

...like about 800 miles or so from my home in Phoenix to Leann's Family Restaurant in Burlingame, California! 

Having gotten only about 2 hours of sleep the night before, I was very glad to get my much-needed cup of joe at Leann's, a little diner that's attached to Red Roof Inn!  Yay, caffeine!!  :)
